Special Occation Hair

Meet the Models

Christina has always been stunning. She has done her share of modeling and acting. With two wedding dresses, it was fun showing her in two different styles. More and more brides are wearing a different dress for their ceremony and reception. Thanks for spending your birthday with us Christina!

These photos are so Mallory! She and her husband are both artists that rock those tattoos. She’s as pure as her snow white skin yet has that sweet but edgy, Betty Page thing going for her. Today’s brides want to be themselves and do something unique. Thanks for being you Mallory!

Those curls on Anna are hers! I barely had to touch them up. She prefers her hair straight but I insisted on showing off her natural beauty. If you got them, flaunt them! She is an amazing wife and mom.. Anna pulled double duty, both modeling and doing makeup. If you need a makeup artist, let me know!

Christa is quickly becoming my muse. I’ve styled her for a fashion show, wedding, an ad, and now for my portfolio. I’m sure there will be many more photo opts to come! Can’t get enough of those beautiful blue eyes! Thanks Pastor Caleb Treat for letting us borrow your wife!

Junko is sporting extensions from her home country, Japan. She and her husband Ivan are an awesome and giving couple. After, 8 years they are still madly in love. I love how mysterious a black birdcage veil can make a girl look!

Miss Destinee is an aspiring model. She worked that little white dress! She perfectly portrayed the youthful bride. Short dress, hair down, topped with a white birdcage veil… Love it!

Bridal Shoot Wedding Vendors

The Vision

In the fall of 2010 I pitch an idea to a talented friend of mine to do a photo shoot to build our portfolios. Not only was she in, but took it to a whole other level. She contacted a studio, florist, an event planner and baker. We got two makeup artist and eight models involved. We were inspired by the 'trash the dress' trend, using already married women in our life as models. She took the concept I had for each model and captured them in our home town, Tacoma, WA. We love T-town! Our visions came together perfectly. I'm so grateful for all of these amazing women in my life who are beautiful on the inside and out!
Meet Latasha of Latasha Haynes Photography. She is one of the most driven people I know. Her energy is contagious. We met at woman's bible study. It's amazing who God will align you with the if you put Him first. Over the last year I have watched her and her husband Isaiah grow their photography business from the ground up. I'm so glad they didn't move to the east coast. Their great vision and faith inspire and sharpen me.I'm so thankful for all they have sown into me. I am blessed to have them in my life! They love capturing life's candid moments. They specialize bold, urban lifestyle portraiture. Check out their amazing work!

Meet Makeup Artist, Anna Groves. She loves to educate women on how to be their best. We share a passion for making women look and feel beautiful! We met serving with our talents at our annual woman's event at church. Anna is so gifted and professional. I am thankful for this woman in my life. Check out her artistry! Makeup by Anna Groves

I so appreciated Cara coming out to apply makeup that day.
Loved the air-brushing. Check out her work at Cara Mia Color Studio.

Brea & Andrew Married!

What a fun day at Nestle Farm in Carnation, WA! We styled hair in private bungalows on the property. Brea & Andrew didn't let a little rain stop them from having their outdoor garden ceremony. They were prepared with umbrellas, because that's summer in Washington for ya. Their reception took place in a romantically lit Hippodrome. This classic updo complimented both of her dresses. I had a blast styling these WSU sorority sisters. Such beautiful girls! Congratulations to these college sweethearts!
